There's something special about Ben & Jen. Having met at design school, the two brought some stunning styling to their 3 day wedding extravaganza at Pethers. Ben's waterfall light feature was almost as stunning as his bride (but not quite). Jen's table settings were romantic and edgy, really complimenting the lush rainforest backdrop. Many happy returns Ben & Jen, we look forward to seeing you both again!
In glorious Tamborine Mountain style, Tom & Estelle were wed at Pethers on Saturday, November 17th. Thunder punctuated their vows and rain lashed the balcony roof, setting a stunning back drop for their forever moment. The balcony is designed to maximise rainforest views and keep all 60 guests dry! A gorgeous country style set up complimented Estelle's vintage lace dress, with Tom looking dapper in tweed. Wishing Tom & Estelle many happy years together!
It was a gorgeous Spring day when Sebastian proposed to his stunning lady. With a candle lit aisle, a dozen long stemmed roses and a bottle of bubbles, Sebastian opened his heart and made promises for their future together. A resounding 'yes' was cause for celebration and dinner for two in Pethers Restaurant ensued. Congratulations Lovers, we know a fantastic place to get married!
Tucked away, down by the stream are Treehouses 'Rosella' & 'Wait a while'. Often times all you'll hear is the tinkle of the stream that borders our six hectares; though if you're really lucky, you might hear the many copy cat calls of our resident Alberts Lyrebird. Though rarely seen, the little fellow has a beautiful plume and looks much like a cross between a pheasant and a peacock. Sit out on your treehouse deck and if you're very lucky, you may see the little fellow trot by.
