Flora and Fauna

Pethers is situated in a unique location under the forest canopy.

Wildlife thrives on the plateau and foothills and includes a variety of rainforest birds, pademelon wallabies, green tree frogs, owls, the country's largest skink, as well as Australian icons such as kookaburras, echidnas and possums.

Pethers is home to 112 species of flora and fauna and, most notably, the rare and timid Albert's Lyrebird.

Pethers has engaged in a sustained campaign to support and propagate natural flora and fauna, to assist the local biodiversity become more resilient.
